Winter Sports Reports – round 1

Our first game of the season was against Mount Waverley Heights. There was great sportsmanship from both teams. We won 10-3 taking a massive lead in the second half thanks to Peters height. The scorers of the game were Peter and Benji scoring 6 goals and 4 goals. Written by Benji and Michael

On Friday we versed Mount Waverley Heights in girls netball. It was a close and entertaining game with a score of six all. Big shout outs to Mali and Sara for both scoring 3 goals, to Anna for not taking any breaks, the team for showing great teamwork and especially Mount Waverley Heights for showing good sportsmanship as well as their coach, Miss B for being a kind and fair umpire. We look forward to playing St Christopher’s next week. Written by Sara, Jayda and Mali

Todays game was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone played great and the whole game was a blast. Unfortunately Marty took a great hit to the chest (he is ok now). The final score was 34-28, we won but it was very close. In the match it was neck to neck, Imran saved us from a close encounter. Thank you to every teacher and parent who participated in the first game of the year. Mount Waverley had the best sportsmanship we have ever seen. Written by Lucas and ZiYan

Woohoo, Parkhill won in AFL against Mount Waverley Heights with a whopping 36- 15. There was fabulous passing, marking and kicking as well as fantastic sportsmanship by Parkhill. Parkhill were not just cheering for themselves they were cheering for Mount Waverley too. Everyone played by the rules and it was an awesome game. Thanks to Peter for volunteering to umpire.
