Reporting Progress

Assessment and Reporting Children are assessed in a variety of formal and informal ways including standardized tests, observations, works samples and the government National Assessment Program (NAPLAN) in grades 3 and 5. All children are assessed according to the Victorian Curriculum achievement levels. Official reporting of children’s progress is as follows:

  • Three Way Conferences (Early Term 1)
  • Written Reports (mid year and end of year)
  • Interviews (as required by appointment)
  • Program Support Group Meetings once a term (Program for Students with Disabilities)
  • Student Portfolios (taken home once a term)
  • Student-led Conferences (early Term 3)
