Being Involved

There are a number of ways that you can become involved in your child’s school life, and it can range from offering occasional help, such as with excursions – to a more permanent fixture, such as being a regular classroom helper. The school welcomes any offer of help, and if you can offer any amount of your time, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher, or the office.

Some of the ways you can help include:

Class programs, such as Garden, Art, excursions, and other curriculum programs like spelling or reading;

parent groups, such as PFA, class reps, and school council;

sport activities, such as 5/6 Sport, 3/4 Sport, PMP, Cross Country, and House sport competitions;

lunchtime activities, such as Lego group or a craft group;

office tasks, such as book club, photocopying, and collating;

working bees, that are held once a term;

driving the school bus (no special licence required);

special school events, such as our Garden opening, or Twilight Sports. There are many other ways you can help, so please let us know if you are available.
