PARKHILL PRIMARY SCHOOL NEWSLETTER
ISSUE 38, FRIDAY 3RD DECEMBER 2021
Dear parents and carers,
Last Saturday we held a very successful working bee where we were able to paint the admin/library building as well as complete extensive weeding across the school. We had 46 adults involved and a large number of children all working hard to improve the physical appearance of the school. This number of people is extraordinary, particularly given the population of Parkhill. We were able to complete the painting project with the volunteer support of the Edge Church and the donation of all paint by Taubmans. A special thanks is extended to Noel from the Edge Church for his painting expertise and for coordinating the painting and especially for giving up his weekend to support Parkhill. Congratulations to School Council on this achievement and to Dan and Wendy in particular for their organisation and coordination of this project. While the completion of the painting was a major achievement, the building of community spirit, pride and commitment cannot be understated.2022 teachers
