After a change of date due to rain and hail that never eventuated, the conditions could not have been more perfect for a run. A motivated field of runners took to the course with excitement. Somewhere around the uphill part or grassy terrain the enthusiasm started to wain for some. But they powered through making it up the hill to cross the finish line for a well earned drink and cool down. Congratulations to all participants and a great big Parkhill thanks to those parents who helped to man the course and collect the final results.
Below are the results for all of the age groups. The first 8 students for ages 10, 11 and 12/13 will go through to district, which is run at Jells Park on Friday 20th May. Despite knowing they would not be able to go through to district, the 9 year olds still chose to train and run with their class mates, an admirable effort and attitude.
