Reporting Progress
Assessment and Reporting Children are assessed in a variety of formal and informal ways including standardized tests, observations, works samples and the government National Assessment Program (NAPLAN) in grades 3 and 5. All children are assessed according to the Victorian Curriculum achievement levels. Official reporting of children’s progress is as follows:
- Three Way Conferences (Early Term 1)
- Written Reports (mid year and end of year)
- Interviews (as required by appointment)
- Program Support Group Meetings once a term (Program for Students with Disabilities)
- Student Portfolios (taken home once a term)
- Student-led Conferences (early Term 3)
